The first item I will be looking at is the tea tree targeted gel. This has a small applicator which allows the gel to be applied exactly where it is needed. It is also good to put over any popped spot to help stop it from coming back. When it is applied on either popped or sensitive skin it may sting as it purifies, clean and disinfects. I would suggest using either aftershave/perfume or a strong smelling deodorant to cover up the smell of the tea tree oil as it has a very strong smell.
The next item is tea tree oil. The one I currently have and use is the from the body shop. Best way to use the tea tree oil in my opinion is to put a small amount on to a cotton pad and then apply the part with the tea tree oil to the bits of skin with acne. The tea tree oil helps lift out the impurities that cause the acne spots but may sting a bit since of its strength. It should only be applied a couple of times a week since otherwise it might dry the skin out. Below shows a picture of the body shop tea tree oil.
The final item that I have used that I will be talking about is the tea tree anti-imperfection daily solution. It has a pipette to help apply the correct amount as only a few drops are needed per a place. This one works by applying a couple of drops of the solution to where the acne is after being washed. This helps to lift up the impurities that causes the acne and helps to stop it from coming back. Below shows an image of the solution.
One of the items which would be useful if you wish to pop the acne spots to remove them is a blackhead remover which is a thing bit of metal with bits at each end to squeeze the spot and remove the posy inside. Since it is made of metal it is easily cleaned and kept hygienic. This will help remove the spots but after using it is best to use something such as the tea tree oil to disinfect the area so that the acne spots are less likely to return.
Tips and myths:
The first myth is that putting toothpaste on the acne spots. This came about as people believed that the toothpaste as it dried would dry out the acne spot there for removing it. This myth is not true as the toothpaste will dry but will have no effect on the acne spot.
The next myth that an oily/fatty diet cause the skin to get covered in acne. Once again this myth is a lie. A lot of people believed this since there was a lot of people who had diets with a lot of fat/oil and also parents used it to get their children to eat healthily but, studies have found there is no links between having a fatty/oily diet and acne. So there is no link but is still better to have a healthy diet as it will help you feel better it help the rest of your body.
The last tip I would give is take care when shaving around acne. This is because when you shave your skin becomes more open and also can pop acne spots helping it spread. So when shaving it is better to not to shave around acne the same the rest of your body and also use something such as aftershave balm as it helps your skin recover and therefore less likely to get acne.
If there is anything you would like me to look in to or talk about please comment and I will do my best. Also would you all want me to also do haul posts after I have gone out to restock if you would like me to please let me know by saying so in the comments.
